I just bought a new destruction valve kit. JD’s new piece is slightly different from the one in the photo and appears to be much longer. After putting it in, the pump was already smashed even without fully tightening it.
I think they give me the one that goes on top of a fitting, in the “spare pump” not directly in the pump housing.
What should I do?Can I still get the correct destroke valve?
The long destruction screw goes with a bomb with a serial number tag. You can cut the long, or get the short screw, which is for an original pump.
